Good people but $80 key deposit is a bit extreme
I wish I could rate Mackay rentals less than one star. Upon exiting we got a professional bond clean, carpet clean and pest spray. Wendy tried to claim things that were clearly recorded on our entry report. Her reputation for being a stubborn crazy stick in the mud couldn't be truer. The power tripping is strong in this one. We went to mediation for our bond and had to come to a compromise as she would just not let go and was willing to go to qcat over $100. She is a crazy mean woman who has obviously turned sour after being in the industry too long l. 10/10 would not recommend!!
Avoid this rental agency.The only positive is reception staff who are courteous & helpful.Property managers treat renters like dirt, ignoring emails and taking weeks to address maintenance requests.

I agree with what others have posted, they will be lovely to rent with until you decide to leave. They will then ignore you, and make things as difficult as possible for you to get your bond back. My advice, rent with someone else, and save yourself from dealing with this horrible company.
