Nice and clean hotel with a view, there is no bath , pressurised shower, and with kitchenette. There is also a coffee shop adjacent to the building. There is lock parking which is small and probably catered for only 20 cars or less.
i like this hotel. good location. reasonably priced. no bath shower. restaurant was ok. parking is secure too. handy to town and canlands.
The restaurant and breakfast menu is compelling and refreshing for Mackay. Some options are unexpectedly heavy but everything is tasty and filling. The staff and setting is great too.
Property itself is nice clean tidy!As for being on our honeymoon had no relevance to the care or choice of room! New Years morning level 1 greets us to wheelie bins being emptied at 6am ! Dont get me started on the rudeness and lack of help with food in there restaurant! So if your Coeliac or have Dietary issues Id avoid the restaurant. For the record Ive been diagnosed Coeliac for some 15 year now and until last night it has not been such and inconvenience. To your Waitress & Chef, its not hard it doesnt take much to try ... thanks for making me feel like an alien!
Fantastic stay. Arrived late due to 4hour flight delays in Brisbane on a Sunday evening. I rang the after hours and he was helpful and happy to check myself and another guest in who had arrived late as well. Always clean. Beds a comfy. Food in the adjoining restaurant is excellent as well.
