Facilities fine but a bit shabby. Basic campsite. Handy for food shop next to IGA.
Be warned, very sharp turning into the entrance!Nice staff here who are very helpful.The WiFi is not good at all and the bathrooms could be cleaner.The atmosphere is lovely here, everyone is so friendly and helpfulIt's near shops etc so it's a good location. Not much to do around though and the owner recommended just staying one night and heading elsewhere
Save yourself the hassle and go to the BIG4 instead...Midway through our 8 hour drive from Cairns, we decided to call the Premier Caravan Park to book a site. Bev took our call and confirmed that she had spaces available and that she was happy to take the booking. When we told her that we would be arriving at 7pm her tone quickly changed. She said that she didnt accept after-hour arrivals because its not worth the hassle.After this blunt conversation, we called the BIG4 Park in Mackay and they quickly arranged our booking - We arrived after-hours and our stay was excellent.
What a great place to stay. Bev and her crew were very friendly. Clean and tidy amenities. Close to everything and sites were just great. Will be staying again when in area. Thanks Bev.
