Good selection of stores. Small car parks. Incrediblely short car parks, absolute nightmare to get an under cover park if your car is over 2.3m
Mt Pleasant Centre has a good size Kmart and both good size Coles and Woolworths. There is small food court and a wide circular pedestrain hall of vaiety of retailers and pop up stores. This is medium size shopping centre and is one of Mackay's oldest but maintain a modern appeal. There is additional shops, Centrelink and a cinema complex across the road in the Greensfield complex on southside also managed by the shopping centre. The otherside of "Mt P" (local term) a plaza exist and also short 2 minute walk to a new modern public library behind Mt P. Very family orientated especially during holidays. Well worth a two hour shopping fix or grab a few essentials. Easy parking upstairs and downstairs.

Found parking easily even though it was busy, got everything we needed with no dramas
It's understandable that businesses that run 9-5 want to be in a centre where there is customer traffic but for a Thursday night shop .... it truly limits my understanding of a shopping centre ..... be open during centre opening hours or move your business to another spot!! Centre management needs more insight. Mt pleasant isn't on my return to list at all. Sad really.... i wonder who else feels this way?
