Traditional Queensland pub on the outside, great atmosphere and food inside. 5 stars.
Excellent steak and friendly environment. Very accepting of young kids. Came back again, and unfortunately eye fillet was tough and over cooked. Fantastic staff and brought out a brand new meal and steak was almost perfect! Brought out a drink on the house while we waited. Highly recommended, and again, very kid friendly!
One of the worst meals Ive had. Three of us ordered steaks at premium prices. Steaks werent rested and had blood pooled all over the plate. Side of veggies was one steamed cauliflower and chopped carrots. Could go to a hatted restaurant in the city for these prices. $14 Jalapeo poppers was three halves not even battered and fried. Dont go. Any of the other pubs are better value.
Very good costumer service. Food is very yummy and they give you a lot. Pockie machine, pool table, Big TV screen. Highly recommended
Recently went here with the family while visiting. Use to come here quite often and would have given 5 stars but unfortunately with a large order place the meals came out very late and were a little cold. This was on a Saturday night so really would have tested out the kitchen. I would still consider this place to be one of the best steak places in Mackay. The pie here in particular is great value for money!
