Nice clean little airport. Helpful staff. Red Rooster, Boost & a healthy sandwich place. Could do with USB charge points in waiting areas.
Fly into Proserpine Airport, it is cheaper and nicer.
Wow .. just wow, it was raining and they left my luggage out in the rain now all of my electronics and clothes are all wet, my suit is now wet and the colour of the suit had stained my white shirt. Absolutely stupid
Has it been updated since the '80s? Probably not. But it does the job, and even includes an outdoor dining area where you can watch your plane land. How cool is that?
I forgot how enjoyable to climb down the stairs of the plane and to walk across the tarmac with the beautiful 21 degree fresh air filling your lungs and the gorgeous blue sky and sunshine welcoming us to Queensland. Laid back and not rushed. Gots love Queensland time.
